How to deep fry chicken wings
Fried chicken wings are a great appetizer dish for anytime. Learn how to deep fry chicken wings and make fresh fried wings without going out to a restaurant.
Tastenirvana Grama’s Sweet Chili Sauce – 6 table spoons
Chicken Wings – 10 wings
Water – 6 table spoons
Some Cilantro for garnish
Place a large pan on the stove. Add enough cooking oil so that the oil covers chicken wing all the way. Heat up the oil to bring about 350 F.
2 ) Start Cooking
Add Chicken wings. Add them one by one. If you add too much wings at the same time, they lowers the temperature of the oil. You need to maintain the temperature hot enough to cook the wings thoroughly.
Fry the wings for 7 minutes.
While deep-drying the wings, let’s make the sweet chili sauce.
Bring a medium sauce pan on the stove.
Heat it up to a HIGH heat.
If you are not sure how hot the pan is. you can place your hand right above the pan plate.
(But DO NOT touch the pan. You don’t want to burn your hand.)
If you feel the heat, it should be ready.
Add Tastenirvana Grama’s Sweet Chili Sauce
Add the water.
Mix and stir in high heat till the sauce is boiling.
Add Cilantro into the sauce.
After mixing the sauce with boiling temperature for a while, turn off the stove or change it to Low Heat.
Check the wings
When you see less bubble around the wings, it means they are cooked.
Take the wings out and place on paper towels.
Then, add wings in the sauce pan to mix with the Sweet Chili Sauce.
Stir the wings.
Eventually, the sauce sticks with wings like caramel sauce.
Now the dish is ready! Let’s serve.
Sprinkle some cilantro and done!
